I wore this outfit to my company holiday party, we were whisked away in a luxury bus to the acclaimed restaurant Prospect in SOMA( so so delicious), followed by a few laps around the ice skating rink at Embarcadero & Market St. You know, ice skating is not nearly as bad as I remember it being...I suppose not being on an awkward date, and having some drinks in me helped tremendously...
I wanted to get in the holiday spirit, and had some fun putting together this outfit. I loved the festive, warm and fuzzy look, and how its just a touch sophisticated with the pony boots and gloves. The structured shoulders in the jacket with the cinched waist made me look thinner, and that jacket over skinny jeans and boots made my legs look longer too. Score and score! Mixing old and new items makes for an interesting outfit, and I really enjoy thinking about the memories made when I found each treasure.
Navy jacket from Bio in NYC, vintage newsboys cap from NYC, vintage cream gloves & emerald clip on earrings from Alameda Antique Fair, jeans from Uniqlo in NYC, and Chie Mihara pony hair boots from a sample sale in NYC, Louis Vuitton Epi Leather purse from Paris. And so long to my little brass bow ring that I lost while taking these photos :(
