Daisy sans Dukes outfit

If you ever catch me on a Friday, you'll likely see me wearing this outfit. Part Western, part laid-back, part fun :) Sometimes I throw my cozy navy cashmere vest on top, but it was so warm, there was no need. Can't say that very often when speaking of SF!

And ifyou are wondering about the "22" earrings, 22 is my favorite number. It was my first sports number for basketball when I was 8 or 9. Also the number I wore in my only championship  basketball season back in 8th grade. (Bret Harte, you know!) I love this outfit, and I hope my coworkers don't get tired of it anytime soon because I will wear a hole in those boots before I get bored with this comfortable ensemble. Hope y'all had a great start to the week!

Obsession: SHOES!

I've been dreaming of shoes lately, and it all started with window shopping at Louis Vuitton, where I saw THEM: Oh Really! Low Boot in Patent Leather. These photos do not do this pair of peep toe wedges justice! They should add a back view of this shoe...The best things about this shoe: It's patent leather, the locket on the back is the hottest thing ever, and last but not least, they are very light!

Other pairs I'm drooling over on the Bloomies sale today...
Rachel Zoe "Bella" Boot
I love a boot, and I love a button on a boot.

Giuseppe Zanotti Wedge Boot
Everyone could use a pair of Python leather boots. They're black, so it's neutral, but the python just gives you a little edge...pow!

Guess "Hondo" Peeptoe Platform
I love this color, its not a typical neutral, and plus, it would go perfectly with a L.A.M.B skirt I have ;)

Sigh, back to dreaming...

Simply Sweet- A Very Girly Manicure

Hey gals, sorry it's been a while since I posted. Now I'm sick at home, and thought it would be a good time to catch up on blogging! Wanted to share my latest mani with you: Essie Splash of Grenadine and Sephora's Hello Kitty Nail Art Stickers. Basically a french tip effect but with a lace detail instead of your typical solid french tip.  It made for a super girly combo, and perhaps next time I will pair the Hello Kitty stickers with something more moody, like an Essie Smokin' Hot...yum... Anyway, here are some pics!

And some tips:

1) Do your regular mani with the color of your choice.
2) Pick a decal of your choice, I decided on these Hello Kitty strips. They work very similar to the Sally Hansen Press on nail polish, because you put them on a little larger than your nail and file the excess off. (click on video on left for demonstration)
3) Make sure to do a good topcoat! Don't forget to go on along the edge of your nail (ever notice the salons always do the edge of your nail?! Helps prevent chipping)
4) Enjoy :)

Skindinavia Review

My lashes are Betty Boop worthy and now global warming is melting my face no more... For my birthday this year, I received a bottle of Skindinavia No More shine Makeup Finish, an oil control makeup setting spray. Greater than my skepticism of this product was my fear that it would cause breakouts like most primers/finishers do to me. To my surprise, it really works AND no breakouts. Color me impressed!

This product keeps my makeup put even through the humid scorching dog days of NYC. For that, it's the first and last thing that I put on before I leave the house in the morning. Even after a 25 minute walk to work I don't need a touch up.

Cannonball Review

I just bought my first tube of Cannonball mascara from Urban Decay and I think I've discovered Mascara Bliss.

About Cannonball:
"Cannonball Ultra Waterproof Mascara! Rigorously field-tested in the ocean as well as sweat-drenched gym conditions, this exclusive Japanese formula refuses to budge. A special microcrystalline wax works with the dense, fuzzy brush to increase seductive length and volume, all while never flaking off and compromising your lashes’ natural feathery texture. Mermaids can now sing their siren songs with abandon, and high maintenance types can cry all they want."

This mascara lasted all day at the beach on a 90+ degree day and then washed off at night without making me look like I was crying tears of tar. Not to mention, no more separation anxiety: No clumps and it holds a curl!

Buy it online or at Sephora before I go and buy up every tube in stock.
