Happy Saturday! Hope you all have some fun plans for this weekend :) This week I decided to take some pics at my office, since it is a pretty amazing space. Maybe a separate post on my our design office later!
Anyway, I had bought this coral poufy shirt in NYC, and have been thinking of outfits to put it with. And naturally on the day I decided to wear it, it was too hot to wear said outfit, so I opted to pair it with this dark purple pencil skirt. LOVED the color combo. Happy accident. Added these 5"hot pink satin heels to make it extra girlie. (Have to flaunt the girliness from time to time!) Final touch- pink tassel earrings I made for So Smitten Jewelry. What girlie things are you thinking of wearing this summer? It's Saturday- that means off to running errands! Have a great weekend.

In the Kitchen: EPIC Chicken Pot Pie
There is nothing I love more than comfort food. That being said, my friend Jon and I have been planning on making chicken pot pies... Or, I should say, I have been bugging Jon to teach me how to make CPP's since...oh about Xmas time! So finally this weekend we got together to make them from scratch. And I mean...roasting the chicken, making the chicken stock, making the pie crust, hand peeling the fresh English peas. The WORKS. The amount of labor and love that went into that CPP would be hard to beat, and the result was what a CPP should be: Rich, flaky, flavorful, and so good you want to savor the moment forever. My friends can't wait for me to make it for them, I can only hope my CPP will turn out as beautiful as Jon's!

Strolling in Belmont
We had a family reunion this past weekend, which gave me the chance to hang out with my cousins who I don't see as often as I'd like! I love these girls- they keep it real, they're gorgeous, and they're a lot of fun :) Not to mention they both rock their own style, and this was a nice laid-back Saturday. No fuss here! So while the boys decided to play some tennis, we girls took a walk along the lake. Such beautiful weather, couldn't help but enjoy the outdoors a little and catch up! Hope y'all had a great weekend too :)

Cloudy with a chance of Spotify (win a Spotify invite!)
I just joined SPOTIFY.com premium and am loving cloud life. You can never have too much music (already have Google Music, Amazon MP3 Cloudplayer and Pandora One accounts) right? I'm frantically trying to consolidate my purchased music out of iTunes as we speak.
Pandora One streams faster than Cloud Player, but my premium Spotify has offline mode. Excited to see how it compares. I wonder if Spotify has the discoverability factor of hypeM.com? I don't know much yet, but I do know that it's not iTunes.
Ish We Love has one Spotify free version invite up for grabs right now. If you want to win the invite, follow our blog. We'll send one lucky reader at random the invite tomorrow morning 7/16! We'll send out more invites as we get them.

Now if only I could just have one Altocumulus lenticularis cloud for all of my online media (TV, Video, Photos, etc) in one simple place... Pretty please, ahem Google??
PS. Here are some tips for using Spotify

Longer Lashes: Latisse Groupon & Shisheido Curler
Hello Ladies :) For those of you who have been on the fence about buying Latisse due to cost, there's a great Latisse Groupon out today for basically $140 for 2 months' supply (but that should actually last you the full 16 weeks). Compare that to the $108 I spent for 1 month supply, you're saving $76 :)
And if you're on your way to longer lashes, but still want a boost from an eyelash curler, the new Shisheido curler is great. Compared with the older model, the curve of the metal that touches your lashes is a little flatter, and the metal is a little broader, which allows it to capture shorter lashes, and lashes from inner to outer corners of your eye. It's $19 at Sephora, plus it's a nice pearl grey color, a nice departure from your standard shiny nickel finish ;)
Cheers, to longer lashes! xoxo Lish

Let's Get the Rhythm of the Head, Ding Dong
I've been MIA leaving all of the heavy-lifting to Lish, but I'm back in action and ready to tell you about one of my favorite websites! www.ZocDoc.com is a free online service that allows you to book doctor appointments online. It takes the royal pain out of scheduling and is almost as good as Hank Med at your door (for any of you USA TV junkies like me).
Dread going to the doctor or dentist? Worried that you won't be able to find a good doctor that takes your insurance? Or worse yet, you have to wait 3 months for an appointment and by that time you won't need the appointment anymore? Stop self-diagnosing Jumping Frenchman Disorder online and put ZocDoc.com into your browser. You can schedule by location, specialty, condition, insurance, name, etc. You can also get answers to your questions online from Harvard, etc. doctors. There's an App (Android version now available!) and you can receive text message reminders and email confirmations. My favorite features are that the system stores your insurance information and previous appointments for easy rebooking, allows you to read and write reviews, and displays when the next available appointment time is.
**Update** I scheduled an appointment today (7/25) and my appointment was canceled with no feedback from the doctor. ZocDoc called me personally to apologize and even sent me a gift for my inconvenience. The customer service is friendly and they continue to delight me!
I'm waiting for Zoc Doc to add holistic practitioners and a network for pro-bono work, but even without those features, this site solves a problem as common as the cold and brings what was traditionally offline, online. Thanks ZocDoc. Can you make your services available for my beauty needs (hair dresser, nail salon, etc) next?
Love, your #1 Zoc Star

Dating
I found and old poem I wrote, thought it was kind of funny. I've never shared anything like this, so be gentle! Enjoy :) xoxo Lish
Dating
Smiles. Tap on a shoulder.
Eyes meet, words exchanged.
Exhilerance in the mundane.
First date.
One drink turns into 3 drinks,
And dinner.
No kiss. Hug.
Text.
Wait.
Wait.
Call! Seems promising.
Wait. Wait. Wait…
“He’s just not that into you”. Sigh.
And naturally, Text! Date!
Roller coaster.
I hate dating.

Beautiful Soul
I was listening to the song Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney (judge if you must), and it put me in a really good mood. So I drove with my windows down, in the amazing weather we had in the bay the past few days, and enjoyed my weekend. I got to hang out with my friends, go dancing to 90's music which is my favorite thing in the world, have a slumber party, eat German food and Malaysian, and even stay productive! In a nutshell, I'm a little giddy about life in general, in a happy place and grateful for the friends and opportunities life brings us all. I'll leave you with some images of things that have made me love my life this spring and summer so far...
xoxo Lish
