Russian Navy

Saw this on pintrest (thanks Ixchel!) and decided to try it. I did it with OPI Russian Navy Matte, and just did clear polish as the French tip. Sort of solves a dual purpose- looks more interesting, plus helps the matte polish last longer because you're protecting the tips! I'm LOVING how this looks! But I'm a little skeptical about how long it will last vs. a regular mani. Will post an update. Hope everyone had a good Wednesday and enjoyed the nice weather in SF. Out for a cocktail now, byee!

  2. UPDATE: The matte really only lasts about 2 days before it gets all "eggshell" sheen on you. Would be worth doing a regular mani, and as it's fading, add a matte topcoat for a couple of days just for fun and to extend your mani :)
