I just got some new boots in the mail I purchased from www.ideeli.com, and couldn't wait to try them on!
First pair is a max studio LESS, black with unfinished edges, and faux shearling inside. Very light, very flexible, 4" heel. I'll have to wear these to work for a full day before I know how wearable they will be in the future for me! I am not the kind of girl who can wear heels everyday, its more like 1-3 times a week, possibly on the weekends.
Anyway, pics below:
NOTE: I have since worn these booties to work, for 10 hours walking up and down 3 flights of stairs, and I SURVIVED! They were super light, and I wouldn't hesitate to wear them on a day I know I'd be at my desk mostly. Would be even better if I had gel inserts!
And the second pair is a thigh high brown leather boot from Report called Natasha, also from ideeli.com. Fit perfectly, has a 2/3 zip on the inside of the boot, as well as a small zip on the outside of the boot. Im not going to lie, these are WAY taller on my legs than I thought they would be. I don't think I could find a mini skirt that was an appropriate length to wear with these, they are so high. They've got a 3-1/2" heel. I almost feel they are a little too risque to wear to work, but hey, why not push the limits?
NOTE: I have worn these once, on a cold and rainy SF night meeting some friends for dinner. They kept me warm, and made me feel better because I wasn't having the best day. I don't know if I could handle wearing these ALL DAY long. They are pretty tall, and your movement is somewhat restricted from the lotsa leather going on! Would definitely need gel inserts for all day wearability, as well as non-skid pads!
